Local Culture had humble beginnings in 2017 by wanting to create a healthy and nutritious side dish for ourselves and our families. Starting out as a Farmer’s Market side hustle, we quickly saw that it could become something bigger. 

With our dedication to sustainability, we decided to grow our business keeping our core values of high standards, integrity and transparency intact.  Direct relationships with certified organic regional farms are the foundation of our business. To this day we continue to compost 100% of our facility food waste, never ferment in plastic and package in glass jars

We are the only certified organic ferment company distributed nationwide that ferments in stainless steel tanks instead of the plastic alternative. 

We understand that ferments leach toxins out of plastics, and it is important to us that we deliver the highest quality product to the people. It’s more of a commitment, but worth it for us to ensure we aren’t passing any toxins to your gut or any compromises to your health.
